LS type screw conveyor

LS type screw conveyors are widely used in various sectors of the national economy, such as building materials, metallurgy, chemical industry, electricity, coal, machinery, light industry, grain and food industries. They are suitable for conveying powdered, granular, and small materials, such as cement, coal powder, grain, fertilizer, ash, sand, coke, etc. It is not suitable to transport materials that are prone to spoilage, high viscosity, and clumping. The working environment temperature of LS screw conveyors is usually -20~40 ℃, and the temperature of transported materials is generally -20~80 ℃. LS screw conveyors are suitable for horizontal and small inclination arrangements, with an inclination angle not exceeding 15 °. Working principle of LS type screw conveyor:

LS type screw conveyor uses rotating screws to move the conveyed material along a fixed casing for conveying work. The head and tail bearings are moved outside the casing, and the hanging bearings are equipped with sliding bearings and dustproof sealing devices. The bearing shells are generally made of powder metallurgy, and the cement is transported using felt bearing shells. The hanging and spiral shafts are connected by sliders.

The overall layout of LS type screw conveyor:

A screw conveyor usually consists of three main parts: the screw body, the inlet and outlet device, and the driving device.

The main body of the screw machine consists of three types: the head section, the middle section, and the tail section. In general, during the final assembly of the factory, the intermediate sections are arranged in order of length. The longer intermediate section is close to the head section, while the same length intermediate sections are placed together. If there is a requirement, the arrangement order is given when placing an order.

A thrust bearing is installed in the head section to withstand axial force, and a bearing is inst
