Industrial dust collector, also known as industrial vacuum cleaner, is an industrial dust collection equipment used for industrial purposes to collect and absorb waste media particles, dust smoke, oil and water generated during production, operation, and transportation.

Industrial vacuum cleaners use AC power supply with high power and are generally divided into two types: movable and fixed. The multiphase mixture involved in industrial dust removal is called a gas-phase suspension system or aerosol. The small particles dispersed within are called dust particles or particles, and the state of dust particle accumulation is called powder. In order to correctly design and select dust removal equipment in engineering design, it is necessary to master the main physical and chemical properties of dust. The parameters used to describe dust properties include: particle size and dispersion, density and packing density, cohesion, wettability, charge and conductivity, natural packing angle, and explosiveness.

By using a fan or air pump to extract the air inside the machine, a pressure difference is generated between the inside and outside of the machine, known as negative pressure. The higher the negative pressure, the stronger the suction force. A vacuum cleaner is actually a very simple mechanical equipment, mainly used by a vortex air pump or fan for ventilation. After the debris enters the machine through the suction nozzle and vacuum pipe, it first enters a filter cloth bag, usually non-woven fabric. After primary filtration, the air carrying fine dust is then filtered through a special filter, filtered through a second stage, and discharged through the fan exhaust port.

Maintenance and upkeep

Pre use inspection: Open the cylinder cover to check if the dust storage bag is securely fastened, if the suction port is securely fastened, and cover the cylinder cover. Check the power supply voltage, and if necessary, pay attention to the forward and reverse rotation of the motor.

Replacing the belt: Some industrial vacuum cleaners that use belt type transmission need to be replaced with a new conveyor belt. Open the back door of the vacuum cleaner for replacement. If the belt is loose, open the side door and adjust the control nut to the appropriate position.

Precautions during use: Ordinary (non explosion-proof) machines are strictly prohibited from being used in flammable and explosive places; Non special material filter bags cannot absorb ignited flames and ultra-high temperature waste; It is strictly prohibited to use without dust bags or filters, otherwise it will directly cause damage to the fan; When the filter bag or filter is damaged, it should be replaced in a timely manner and cannot be used again; The vacuum hose should not be flattened, stepped on, or worn; The temperature at the outer shell of the rear box is relatively high, especially after continuous operation for a long time, pay attention to burns; Excessive accumulation of debris in the dust storage bin should be cleaned in a timely manner, and the filter bags and filters should be regularly cleaned to ensure smooth operation; After the vacuum cleaner is overloaded, the thermal relay inside the control box will automatically cut off the power supply. At this time, the power plug must be unplugged to identify the cause. After the thermal relay is reset, it can be used again; After completing the work, the power should be cut off and placed in a cool and dry place. This can effectively extend the service life of industrial dust collectors.
