Large scale kiln dust collector
The kiln dust remover is also called vertical kiln water dust remover, which is mainly composed of dust removal tower, ash water separator, spray system, fan induction system, etc. It is trained into a complete operation system of continuous dust removal, ash water separation, dust recycling and water recycling through the pipeline. Compared to other forms of dust collectors, it has less investment and is half of that of an electrostatic precipitator and one-third of that of a large bag filter. It has a wide range of applications for flue gas temperature and requires vertical kiln operation. The installed capacity is small, less than 10KW, with low operating costs. The recovered dust is directly used for ball forming, and there is no secondary pollution in water recycling.
Working principle of kiln dust collector:
Under the induction of jet flow, the exhaust gases from the two chimneys of the mechanized kiln enter the dust removal tower in a tangential direction and form a cyclone. Due to the centrifugal force, some of the dust is thrown towards the cylinder wall and captured by a water film, completing a dust removal process. When the air flow continues to rise, the secondary dust removal is completed through spray and spray washing. The removed ash water mixture flows into the ash water separator for separation, and the precipitated mud is scraped by the scraper to the double shaft mixer to form new balls. Clear water overflows from the top to the clean water tank for reuse.
The kiln dust collector uses filter material. Based on the characteristics of rotary kiln flue gas in our country, the LF series composite filter material is adopted. This filter material is mixed with 20% P84, PTFE is used as the base cloth, and PTFE impregnation is used for post-treatment. This not only solves the problem of high flue gas temperature in rotary kilns, but also enhances the performance of the filter material, making it suitable for use at the end of calcium carbide slag cement kilns.
