Which is better, filter cartridge dust collector or bag dust collector?

There are two major equipment in industrial dust removal equipment: bag filter and filter cartridge filter. When choosing dust removal equipment, people often do not know which one is better. From the principle of dust removal, these two types of dust removal equipment are the same, but the difference is the filter material used in the filter room. There is no distinction between good and bad for these two types of dust removal equipment. They have their own differences and characteristics when used in some specific fields and application environments. Below is a brief sharing:
1. Bag dust collector
The English translation of the bag filter can be said to be a bag filter. Its filtering filter material is several bag filter bags with one end open and one end sealed. We often refer to it as a bag filter. The cleaning effect of the filter bag is good, the filtering efficiency is high, and it can comprehensively clean the dust. The maintenance and management cost during operation is low.
2. Filter cartridge dust collector
The filter cartridge dust collector of dust removal equipment, as the name suggests, mainly uses a cylindrical dust removal filter cartridge as the filtering substrate. Therefore, people call the filter cartridge dust collector a filter cartridge dust collector. In terms of its development history, it is later than the bag dust collector. In the filter chamber, the filter material is made into a wrinkled shape and steel wire mesh is added inside and outside to form a cylindrical filter cartridge, replacing the strips of cloth bags in the filter chamber of the bag dust collector. Therefore, if the structure of the filter cartridge dust collector with the same air volume is seen, it can achieve a dust removal equipment with a smaller volume than the bag dust collector.
From the above description of the differences and characteristics between filter cartridge dust collectors and bag dust collectors, it can be seen that there is no good or bad distinction between these two types of dust removal equipment. When selecting, its production cost should be considered, as well as its later operating cost. More importantly, for environments with high air volume, especially those with particularly high dust content, bag dust collectors are generally more suitable. However, for environments with ultra-low emission requirements, using filter cartridge dust collectors is actually a good choice.
